We Care

FEEDING SCHEME

We disburse targeted nutritious meals to vulnerable indigent families and homeless persons by trying to eradicate hunger and malnutrition within these communities.

Places of Safety – Safe Houses

Gender-Based Violence is a common occurrence within South Africa especially amongst the poorer communities and we at M&V strive to protect the abused women and children affected by providing them with a safe haven and a support system that will grant them with social security services, counselling and a safe secure place to stay.

Substance Abuse Program

⦁ Prevention & Awareness - We offer a prevention and awareness program to educate and to spread the word regarding the dangers of drugs to oneself, families and communities. We provide information that is most effective by following up with continued support to families of those affected by this scourge. We also plan to implement a workplace education program about the dangers of drug and alcohol use in the employment sector.

Skills – Development

This initiative is a program implemented to benefit the unemployed especially women and youth to get accredited learning by providing them with training and learner ship opportunities to enhance their chances of gaining meaningful employment in these tough economic times. This we do by partnering with different SETA’S and institutions by offering courses in the fields of building, welding, pottery, office administration and many more to choose from.

Agricultural Farming

This program was introduced to implement a practice of cultivating plants and livestock to create food surpluses that will enable us to distribute and market the resulting products such as vegetables, fruits and meat for human consumption and also to adopt this initiative as a sustainable job creation project.

Outpatient

This program is similar to prevention and awareness and is more specifically focused on an individual affected by drug abuse. This focusses on drug abuse education and the dangers associated with continued drug dependency. We provide continued individual and group counselling sessions on how to overcome drug dependency and assist with reintegration back into their families and communities as a fully rehabilitated addict.
